New Shows...reviews and stuff.

 Hi All,

I don't think I've done one of these in a while, but there are so many new shows I'm watching I thought I should just comment on them. I won't go too in depth on the shows, but just give my commentary and thoughts. It'll be quick (I think)...

   REIGN:

The story of Mary, Queen of Scots' time as a teenager in the French Court about to marry the Dauphin. This show is not historically accurate, if that's what your looking for then don't watch this. It is however, intriguing, fun and full of pretty people in pretty clothes. It's a teenage soap opera...would do you expect. It also happens to be my latest obsession!

 Sleeping Hollow:

This is a fun show...very supernatural, very historical (and I think they're trying to be as accurate as possible, but without shoving it down your throat). Although it's already on Hiatus, I cannot wait for next season! Ichabod was brought back to life in the present day to destory the recently awoken horseman (who just happens to be the Angel, or Demon of Death...the first horseman of the apocalypse). Ichabod also discovers that his wife's a witch trapped in a parallel deminsion and in order to set things right and get her back he has to destory the "Head" demon out to bring about the apocalyse. He's also teamed up with an Female Lt. (Sheriff's deputy) who's trying her best to get him aclimated to the present. It's fun and keeps you on the edge of your seat...it'll also have you jumping out of your seat and running to turn the lights back on.

Almost Human:

All I have to say is JJ Abrams...but then there's also Karl Urban. Too men I love, whose work I'll watch. I didn't know about this one, but it's a Bad Robot production so I had to give it a try. I'm enjoying it so much! It's funny...a buddy cop show with a twist. Set in the near future, where technology has grown and is running a muck. This show gives us a glimpse of the possiblities we are only starting to experience in everyday life...the good and the bad of it. Again, it's funny and interesting.

Sherlock:

This one isn't new, but after a 2 year break it might as well be. We finally found out how Sherlock faked his death (not really). Mary Watson is introduced, we met a new villian and see the old gang again. Sherlock, of course, has some great moments. Watson kicks Sherlock's butt and Mycroft is a whiner! Also, we meet Mr. and Mrs. Holmes aka Mikey and Sherley's parents. At only 3 episodes a season it was over before it really started and again left us with a great cliffhanger. I cannot wait til season 4. Side note: Mary Watson is played by Dr. Watson (Martin Freeman)'s real life partner and Sherlock's parents are played by Sherlock(Benedict Cumberbatch)'s parents.

Betrayal:

This show (also on hiatus) was the one I was most excited about. From all the previews this show was going to be great, but the previews were the only thing great about it. It had so much potential, but just failed to keep me interested. When I finally finished up the season(thanks to my DVR and on Demand) I felt somewhat happy with the way it ended...I mean it was wrapped up nicely (for what it was). They ended up with a tease, but I'd be really surprised if ABC gives it a second season.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.:

Last, but not least is this gem. Another by a man I'd walk through fire for (well, not really but I'm deeply devoted to his work) Joss Whedon. It's a Marvel show, that hints at Marvel characters and is set in the Marvel universe, but it's its own enitity. I'm enjoying the ride...so far it's been fun and interesting. Also enjoyable are the name drops (of Marvel characters or gags) and the surprise cameos...my favorite so far is Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) yelling at Coulsen for damage done to the "Bus" (airplane). Oh...and yeah COULSEN! He's alive, but because the Avengers don't know it he (and the show) are staying separate...for now.

So that's it...the new shows I've been watching this season. I'm enjoying them all and hope to continue to enjoy them into the future.

Until Next Time!

State of the Union!

Last night was the State of the Union address. I've been watching the SOTU address every year since the middle of W.'s 8 year term. I didn't think I'd get to see the whole thing because I was sitting on the train and the feed on my phone kept cutting out. But in the end, I was able to watch it (thanks to PBS).
There were a lot of things that struck me about it. I gained a lot of information I previously was not aware of and I realized that our country is building momentum to a brighter future...too bad Congress won't get out of the way and let it happen. But I'm not going spout off about the relationship between the President and Congress. No, instead I want to talk about heartbreak.

This is Army Ranger Sgt.1st Class Cory Remsburg. He was invited to sit in the box with the first lady during the address. He's known the President for awhile, in fact, they met in 2009 on the 65th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings in France. The President told his story...how he was injured by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan, he was found by other members of his unit, face down in water with shrapnel in his brain. After months in a coma, he met the President again and was unable to speak or move. The thing that got me about this story was the fact that this brave man was on his 10th deployment to the Middle East! 10TH! 10TH!...That's all that kept running through my head when I was watching the rest of the speech. Not only should he not have been there at all, but he was there for the 10th time. This to me is absolutely heartbreaking...but it also shows the spirit of the brave people who enlisted (they all enlist...no one is being draft, these are all volunteers). Not only are they willing to go in the first place, but they are willing to go again and again and again...never knowing if they'll come back whole or at all.
Cory is just a glaring example of what's happening everyday. Our military hospitals are full of men and women who gave so much of themselves for the rest of us. And it's heartbreaking because it's so unnecessary. Now, we have some members of Congress trying to pick another unnecessary fight...it's like now that we're out of one country and making strides to get out of another they wanted to pick a fight just to send our troops back. I'm glad the President said NO, I'm glad he's standing up to the war machine the US is funding and telling the Congress people to back down and shut up. We don't need to send anymore troops out to die or be severely injured over nothing.
My heart is broken for our troops...the the injured and the whole...for the families of those who aren't coming back and for those who will have to go out with the unknown lingering over their heads.

  Until Next Time.

Missing Politics

Yes, that may sound weird, but it's true. I miss politics.
Over the course of the last several years I started to slowly but surely move away from the mainstream media. In fact, it was after a prime time newscast started with a top story that was about Paris Hilton that I decided enough was enough! I still watched cable news and read newspapers, but I started to see the slant in every story and how news was becoming more and more celebrity/entertainment driven than actual legitimate news driven. I saw it as a way of the government distracting the people from seeing what was really happening in the world (and let's face it, this was when our Pres and VP were starting wars with random nations and getting richer off of them). By the time, Katrina hit I was all but tuned out...so most of what happened around that I know nothing about. Although I still watched cable news (CNN, primarily) it wasn't a frequent thing (I do have to say that during national elections I watch all the news I can get, so during that time its different). However, after the Newton shootings I pretty much swore off media coverage completely. A) Because there aren't any real news stations any more (they are all entertainment) and B) What the media deems important is not the same as what I deem is important. The Newton coverage made me ill and I just stepped away.

Because of that, I missed most of the Benghazi "Scandal" have a vague idea of what "Fast and Furious " is/was and I'm not really sure what the current (supposed) cover up is about. Also who the hell is Jodi Arias? I came up for air during the Boston Bombings...but after the CNN debacle...(I was watching CNN when it happened). I was done...so I have no real idea of what's going on in the world at large. Okay that's a lie...I know a few things. I know about the soldier being killed in England and about the IRS going after the "Tea Party" and the Disneyland bomb (but I only know about that one because I was trying to find out about the weather).

Anyway, because of my thorough lack of any type of news information I am severely lacking in my knowledge of what's happening in American Politics. I love politics! There's just something about it all that makes me excited about this country. It's gives me something to think about...ways to consider different ideals and learn more about this country, and consequently, the world. I use to watch CNN and CSPAN all the time. I was engaged and engrossed in whatever was coming out of Washington. Not anymore.  Not at all!

And I miss that...it's funny that the thing that made me realize this is the Daily Show. As I watched clips of the show this morning, I realized that it's been too long since I've sat (or laid) and watched the ongoings of the country. Since I've actually knew and full understood what was happening in the federal government. I don't know how I'm going to do it (like what websites, blogs, newspapers I should read or which news stations to what, but I need to get back into my secret love...

Politics!

Until Next Time,

New Shows...(Update #2)

So, here's my update...it's a little late seeing that the two shows I'm going to be talking about started in October and one is already done for the season...but better late than never I say! Also, I'm going to give my thoughts on the first few reviews I've posted.

 * Homeland (Showtime): Right off the bat I didn't want to like this show. Why? Because I don't really care for Claire Danes....don't get me wrong, she's a great actress, but she's done some things in her personal life that offend me so I generally avoid her. But this show was great! Riveting, on the edge of your seat each and every episode! The story line took twists and turns I didn't even see coming and in the end I was really upset that Brody didn't do what he was supposed to do. It was a weird place to be, because as he was the "bad guy" I'm supposed to hate him, but I wanted Claire's Carrie to be right even more than I wanted Brody to be stopped. Good writing and wonderful acting all around. I really truly enjoyed this show and can't wait for the next season to start.

*Once Upon A Time (ABC) So, I'm not going to lie. After Revenge this was the show I most wanted to not only watch but wanted to be good. I just couldn't see how they'd continue along with the theme of fairy tales throughout a whole season and keep it good. So far, they have. The writing and acting are good. They differing story lines that all seemingly inter-connect without much connection is awesome. It's giving a new spin to all the fairy tales I've grown up with and making me want to come back for more. Sometimes I'm so wrapped up in it that I don't even realize I've been sitting in one spot for an hour. I can't say enough about this and I know that the season is going to keep going strong until the end.

It's my favorite time of year...the start of a new TV Season! With the new season, comes the reality that old loves are gone and new potential loves are here. This year is no different.
Looking through the new shows there were only a handful that caught my eye and only those have found me taking the time to watch them. So here's my opinions on the new shows I've watched...which ones I'll continue to follow and which ones I'm already done with. I totally forgot a show when I originally wrote this...it's been added to the bottom of the new show reviews.

 * The Secret Circle (CW): Teenage Witches! Very pretty girls wearing cute clothes...and a exciting storyline. So far, so good. I'd never heard of this book series and being completely tired of supernatural teen fair I wasn't very excited about this but I decided to give it a try anyway. I enjoyed the first two episodes (and I just realized I missed the third) but it's on a ticking clock. It has everything to succeed but one of the male leads creeps me out (he's wearing too much make up, trying to hard to seem mysterious and I know he's in his 20's so the disbelief isn't suspended). One false move or completely ridiculous plot twist and I'm out...but for now it's a good little show. I stopped watching this show shortly after writing this review. It was just too contrived for me to continue down that path. And the teens got stupid and frustrating.

 * Revenge (ABC): I must say that I was very disappointed at the cancellation of Brothers and Sisters, but when I saw that Emily Van Camp was starring in her own show, my heart couldn't of been happier (since she's a B&S alum). This story of a young woman sticking it to the people who screwed over her father and ruined her life has made me smile since minute one. My favorite part of the show is the end, when you see exactly how she got over someone during the episode. I will watch this one til the end...I want to see where this is gonna go and how they're going to wrap it all up. Interesting! This show has not disappointed me yet. It gets better and better every week (how is that even possible?). Just when I think they can't come up with anymore they do and it's exciting to watch.

 * Unforgettable (CBS): I only watched this because I like Poppy Montgomery. Nothing about it screamed good show...I watched it and was bored. If I want to watch a serial detective show about a cop with a troubled past I'll go watch THE CLOSER (which is currently on hiatus). I won't be tuning in to this anymore...the unbelievable sexual tension and the whininess of it all is just too much to stomach. I'll leave this to the people who love CBS too much to not watch their lame shows. (Also I don't like her new hair color, it's distracting). I can't believe this is the number 1 new drama....lame!

 * Terra Nova I enjoyed it (it's done for the season). It felt like a weekly escape into so very pretty country with crazy people and dinosaurs. The season finale was a game changer so next season is going to be different and will continue to peak on interest.

 *  Hart of Dixie (CW) This show is very cute...typical fish out of water scenario, about a Doctor from NYC who's life doesn't turn out like she planned. She ends up in small town Alabama taking over the practice of a Doctor whose seemingly been stalking her for years....turns out it's just the thing she needs (like all fish out of water stories). It's funny and sweet and I love Rachel Bilson. I'm in for the long haul with this show. It'll be fun to watch. Still fun, still entertaining, still watching!

So there you go...only four shows! There is one more I'm looking forward to checking out, but it doesn't premiere until the end of October, so I'll come back and review that one then. As far as the shows that returned to my life...

Blue Bloods* I'm sorta getting tired of the show...but not the 'stache
    Hawaii 5-0*
    Fringe

They all made me smile on premiere night!

*yes, I know I commented about CBS and it's lame shows...but these two aren't lame...you cannot call a show with a HOT lead who likes to change his shirt (Hawaii 5-0) or a show with Tom Selleck's mustache lame! You just can't

The Royal Wedding!

Talk about me if you want...but I was up at 1:45 on Friday, April 29, 2011. I was up because I didn't want to miss a thing! Initially I wasn't going to get up until 3am, but I soon realized that I would miss the wedding procession from the various locations the wedding party was housed. I wanted to see the Princes, the Queen, the Bride being driven through the city and emerge from her car....I wanted to see the fairly tale. So I got up at 1:45am...I turned on the TV, made myself some coffee, and I got on the Internet (although I got off about 10 minutes later). And with coffee in hand I watched...all of it!

There are people who don't get it and people who do. For me, I'm a girl her believed the fairly tales I watched. I wanted (want) the handsome prince to swept me off my feet and into a castle. But as a woman, I want a man to be my prince and swept me off my feet and into life as his wife. I love a wedding...doesn't matter who's it is...I love it! So for me, I got up to see it...because for a couple of hours I got to see the dream, the fantasy in action.

   And it was perfect...

Fall TV Reviews

I'm going to now attempt to review the new shows fall I'm watched. Most of these reviews are after one episode. So I'm going to be fair...they could get better (or worse).

First Off....HAWAII 5-0...Loved it! Yes, it's another buddy cop show, one over serious cop with a partner who, quite frankly, just won't shut up. I'm loving Alex O'Loughlin, but Scott Caan isn't my favorite. I think Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park do a nice job of rounding up the group. The only problem I have (besides Caan, who gets on my nerves...but has the best lines) is that at the end of the first episode I pretty much predicted what's going to happen at the end of the season. It was just too easy to see it coming.
The action is good though and it's funny, serious and a good time so I'll continue to tuned in on Monday Nights until I just can't deal with Scott Caan anymore.

NIKITA...I've said it before and I'll say it again. I loved the Nikita show that aired on USA in the 90's. Loved it! And I had high hopes for this new variation on an old idea (2 movies, 2 maybe 3 TV shows). I was not disappointed. Nikita is fast, action packed and sexy. Maggie Q pulls off a different type of Nikita, in look, style and stage of development. The only draw back is again the formula of making a hit show that everyone copies...I can see things coming. That being said, first episode ended with a twist that surprised me, which made me only come back for more.
Nikita on Thursdays, I'll continue to watch her kick butt until the dialogue becomes too bland and I start to long for the old Nikita and Sydney Bristow.

THE EVENT...First of all Blair Underwood is playing a Cuban...huh? They couldn't find a Cuban to play a Cuban? What about Andy Garcia (I'll watch him in anything). Well, that's not the only thing about this show that irks me. It's slow....painfully slow. It built like Heroes...only to leave us with one question "where'd the plane go?" (which was the ad campaign for the next episode...see the Heroes formula?). I don't care where the plane went because half way through the episode I was tired of the show. If I hadn't been watching it with my brother I would have turned it off about 20 mins. in.
It's predictable, it clumsy and it's trying to be too grand for it's own good. Flashbacks, flash forwards, time jumps of 13 months to 5 days and every single time I knew what was coming. No, I don't know what the event is, but I do know that this show just reaffirmed why I don't talk to strangers...they'll get you kidnapped or killed.
I have no plans to watch this show again and if it turns into a huge success then great, but if it doesn't then I'm glad I didn't waste more than an hour on it.

BLUE BLOODS...This one is a keeper...Brothers and Sister type family drama, with a little bit of dirty cop and a Free Mason Like conspiracy. GOOD GOOD GOOD...it wasn't what I thought it'd be. I was both excited, hurt and enthralled while watch this and I will tuned in again and again to see what happens to this family as they battle the system, the criminals and ultimately each other.
Oh and by the way....where on God's green earth has Tom Sellick been hiding? No I don't think he's hot, but I have vivid memories of watch his mustache on Magnum PI as a child and I'm so happy it's back on TV.

That's about it for the new shows...I'll review all my returning favorites after I've watched all the season premieres. Hope you all enjoy your new shows as much I enjoy mine.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...

Nope, it's not the holiday season...it's the new television season! That's right...TV is back and though the new summer shows were great and held my attention, I'm so glad to have my old favorites back on the boob tube to give me countless hours of mindless enjoyment.
My old standbys, Brothers and Sisters, Sons of Anarchy, Fringe and Glee are being mixed up with the addition of some promising looking new shows...Nikita, Hawaii 5-0, Blue Bloods, Raising Hope and Boardwalk Empire. By the end of this week all of these shows will have premiered and I'll know who to watch and who to dump.
I haven't been this excited about the fall season in a very long time...but now that I am, I can't wait to kick back and watch all the shows unfold in front of my eyes. I have high hopes for Nikita and Hawaii 5-0 (the two remakes) so far, Nikita has been great...hopefully Hawaii will be too!

I'll have a review of these and maybe a movie next week!

The Duggars

I've recently become extremely fascinated by the Duggar Family(These are the people with 19 kids, they also have a show on TLC called 19 Kids and Counting)! I don't know why really, I guess, just over time, after hearing so much about them, I just decided to look them up and see what the big deal was all about.

Well, the big deal is their big family. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have 19 children, their youngest was born premature (and only 3 months after their first grandchildren) in December. That's a lot of children, more than I could ever wish to have but hey, they believe that God will provide them with as many children as he sees fit for them to have and really their hearts, minds and souls seem to be in the right place. I can't begrudge them anything because they are doing the best thing for their family and (as it seems from the show) they are raising some great people!

Over the years I have read and heard of people being upset that these two adults are having so many children. Well in this day and age more than 3 is a ridiculous amount to some and to others it's just the start. I do have to say that when I first heard about them I thought the same thing, but I wasn't angry or upset...I just thought "hey, that's a lot of kids and why would someone put themselves in that situation". I do have to say that like any tax paying American citizen I thought of the financial burden these people most be on the country. Then I read their story.

The Duggars have a website (http://www.duggarfamily.com/) which tells their story and why they've chosen to have so many children, how they support their family and are completely debt free...yes, debt free! They don't owe anyone any money and they are raising their children to follow suit. So are these people...Is this family putting a strain on the tax payer, Nope! Not like other recent news makers with a lot of children, these two adults are living their dreams with their boat load of children without costing me a dime. Yes, that's a selfish way to think about it, but it's true.

So, why am I so fascinated? I'm still not sure. I don't know if it's the debt free living or the homeschooling or the amount of children...or if it's the seemingly simple life the lead, in the midst of having 19 children. Maybe it's some of it, or maybe it's all of it. I know one thing...when I'm done watching an episode of their show I have a smile on my face. It does my soul good to see so many happy faces and two parents who love all their children and are doing the best they can for them...especially in a world where parents don't always care about the children they bring into the world.

I' have a problem...

I'm addicted to the television show "The West Wing", now most of you probably know that the show went off the air about 2 years ago...but what you may not know is that it's in syndication and is run like four times a day on Bravo. So last week the show started over from the beginning and I set my DVR to record it. I always liked the show when it was originally airing, but I have ADD and either life got vivid or I found something else to watch, I turned my back on it. But I'm watching again and I CAN'T stop.

I watch it in the morning and...I'm hopeless. It's ridiculous, I'm nuts. it's so bad that I don't want to watch the other show that are recorded on the DVR and even when I'm bored instead of watching the other shows I re-watch West Wing Episodes....I've even put off watching Star Trek: TNG, which is like my second favorite show of all time. I just don't know what to do with myself. I have been forcing myself to watch other shows so that I can leave WW to my Saturday mornings in bed, but it's not working too well, jeez, what am I going to do!

TV Sucks

I've realizes since I've been housesitting this week, that Television sucks nuggets!
I'm used to coming home and finding things I've recorded on my DVR, but since I'm not at home and I'm not recording stuff on my DVR, I'm realizing that the current state of television is just crappy.
There's nothing on but reruns and old movies that I've seen a thousand times, and I'm tired of it. It's all ridiculous! Reality shows suck, regular shows suck and all we have left is commercials... but those suck too. So I'm left to surfing the web, which you can only do for so long. I should probably go to bed, but it's still early so I'm just gonna to sit here and on go too crazy.
And keep surfing the web!

Reviews (Olympic Edition)

So did anyone watch the opening ceremony for the Olympic Games on Friday?
I did! And I want to put on my two cents into the review mix!

The Chinese did a fantastic job! (the base word for fantastic is fantasy, and in order to really use the word properly you have to be alluding to fantasy type imagery and I am). It was so perfect, so precise, so beautiful that it was like something from a dream, something magical!
My favorite part was the opening drum sequence (if you didn't see it live, find it on You Tube, amazing!) there were 2,008 Chinese men playing ancient Chinese drums that lite up, in unison while chanting...and when I say in unison, I mean in UNISON!, if one hand went up so did all 2,007 other hands. Absolutely breathtaking!

The whole thing was beautiful, the colors used, the way it was choreographed the imagery used; everything was amazing, it gets my highest review, if you didn't see it, find it it's worth it, trust me!

Well until the next review! Btw, I haven't reviewed "The Dark Knight" because I haven't seen it yet, yeah I know, but I'm not the last person on earth who hasn't seen it yet...I know two others who haven't seen it either.

Like a Train Wreck

Hey All,

I few months ago I told you that I decided not to waste my time on reality TV anymore. Well, that was before I learned that two out of my four favorites of all time were coming back.
Yes this summer Sunset Tan and Dog the Bounty Hunter are returning to TV.
Now, I know what you're saying, "DOG? Really? That Dude's a racist"...maybe so, but that doesn't really surprise me, if you know anything about his background you could see that there was always potential for that kind of behavior. I'm not condoning it, just saying you can't deny it and I can't deny the fact that I LOVE THIS SHOW and his crazy family. Just the sure "white trashiness" of it all makes it so much more wonderful!
Then there's Sunset Tan, which is pure trash and I love every heart numbing moment of it. It started off like a true car wreck, I watched it, thought it was stupid, but couldn't take my eyes off it, it's been off the air for a year and a half and now it's back, I'm soooo happy!
So, I guess this post is to tell you all that I have gone back on my word I will continue to watch some reality TV, but only two shows....until Real Housewives of the OC comes back...then there's 3

I found something to talk about...

Inappropriate commercials!!!!

There are some things we don't need to know, and some we don't care to know. At times people in our lives choose to share "too much information" with us and we either accept it or call them on it. Those are friends, but sometimes we hear, see or are told things that we just don't need to know. And there's nothing we can do about them....I'm talking commercials!

Have you ever been watching a television show one minute and the next you're watching a woman talking about her period and tampons or see two people about to get it on advertising for KY Jelly. Or finally (my personal favorite) two old folks giving each other the "eye" or sitting in bathtubs side by side holding hands. These are images that I'm sure help people but not all of us need or want to experience them.

I don't want to know about Viagra, Cialis or any other erectile dysfunction medication. I don't need to think about old folks doing it. I'm sure the men don't care to know about all the symptoms that come with a period and how to get rid of them. This is why we have friends, mother, fathers and Doctors, those people are here to help and share information with you about these types of things.

I wish advertisers would help by not putting these commercials EVERYWHERE, but its their job and its our job to watch, I have to admit, I have gone out and purchased new things because of these types of commercials, but most times when they come on, I just change the channel!

Reality Television

I've recently, like yesterday, given up on reality television. I went through my dvr timers and deleted anything having to do with reality tv. Over the last few weeks I've found myself recording these shows and putting off watching them. Watching the shows became more of a chore and less for enjoyment. The last reality show I watched was last weeks episode of "Keeping up with the Kardashsians", I just realized that there was no reason for me to watch these people. I don't really watch a lot of reality tv anyway, don't get me wrong there was a time when I tuned in for the Real World, Laguna Beach, America's Next Top Model, American Idol, Real Housewives of the O.C. and so on, but I've come to realized that the people on the shows are showing me the worst in people. My favorite really, of all time bad shows I've watched is "Flavor of Love" (if you haven't seen this show you must watch it, there's no way for me to describe it to you) women fighting over a very very unattractive man, it's ridiculous! And it makes me angry.
I think, like everyone, I've been sucked into reality tv and like the generation behind me, I can't really remember a time before reality tv. I mean, I know there have always been game shows and things that are "reality", but I'm talking about the shows we have on today...the Big Brother's, Bachelor's, Temptation Islands...those shows, I mean how did we get here?
My real Journey with Reality TV came from this show called "The Real World". We didn't always have cable, but when we got it, I would sit for hours and watch MTV, I could tell you every hair band, sing every song and knew all the VJ's! Then MTV, came out with this show...they took "7 strangers, put them in a house" and you know the rest...it was so crazy to me. These were people in New York, who were living their lives and being adults, they were doing things and talking about things I didn't know about. And I was hooked. I credit the Real World with giving me my first gay friend, Norman, I didn't really know what gay was until I heard Norm talking about it. It was new and inspiring and crazy and great and I learned so much about things I didn't know anything about...being Gay, AIDS, Abortion, it was a real education. I kept watching season after season, then started to get tired. The people coming on the show, weren't coming to teach, like Norm and Pedro, they were coming to be famous and I couldn't handle that. The show that I loved had made me turn a cold shoulder on it. But I was addicted and kept finding new shows to watch. Now, I'm fed up, I'm not learning anything, I'm watching fake, spoiled people wrestle in crap and make out afterwards and calling it entertainment.
Well, no more! I'm done and I'm not sad about it.

We have the technology Use It (Update)

Hey,

Back in September I posted a complaint about cbs.com and how full episodes pf their shows were not available to watch, well I recently discover the cbs.com has now added full episodes of their shows to the site. I'm so happy about that. So if there are any shows on cbs you watch and would like to see again or if you miss an episode and would like to catch it, go to www.cbs.com. Enjoy!

We have the technology let's use it

Okay, in the middle of last television season I found this awesome show called Brothers and Sisters....I went to ABC.com to find out more about the show and discovered that all of the full episodes were there just waiting for me to watch them, I spent every Tuesday or Wednesday after work catching up on Episodes that I missed or wanted to see again. I thanks abc for having all those episodes ready and available to old and new fans alike.
I have tried to find full episodes of other shows that I really enjoy but don't always get to watch, like Army Wives and The Unit, but Lifetime and CBS don't have those full episodes on their site. It's so upsetting....
Listen take a page from ABC PLEASE get the full episodes, people want to see them they are interested, but if you don't help us...we won't watch you. Damn!
